European hosting, data isolation, export and deletion: how KnowVault protects your knowledge.
Updated on
Your data is hosted in the European Union and isolated per organization: nobody outside your organization can access it, and inside the organization people only see the teams they belong to.
How your data is protected#
| Measure | What it guarantees |
|---|---|
| Strict isolation between organizations | Every read and every write is checked in the database itself, not just in the interface |
| Per-team access | A video, its files and its documents are only accessible to members of its team and to administrators |
| Private files | Videos and documents are served through temporary links, valid for 1 hour |
| Sign-in | Strong passwords, Google and Microsoft SSO, bot protection on public forms |
| Rate limiting | Sensitive actions (sign-in, sign-up, invitation, export) are rate-limited |
| Payment | Handled by Stripe: KnowVault never sees or stores any card number |
A deleted account or organization loses access immediately.
Export the organization's data#

Warning
The sole owner of an organization must first appoint another owner, or delete the organization.
Delete the organization#
