A contributor is someone who creates, records or edits videos in KnowVault. Viewers — those who simply watch the videos — are always free and unlimited, on every plan.
Can I change plans at any time?+
Yes. You can move from Starter to Pro (or Enterprise) at any time, and your billing is prorated. Downgrading is also possible at the end of the billing period.
What happens if I exceed my storage quota?+
On the Starter plan (5 GB), you're notified at 80% and 100%. On the Pro plan (1 TB shared), any additional storage is billed per GB. The Enterprise plan includes unlimited storage.
Are viewers really free?+
Yes. We believe a knowledge base only has value if the whole team can access it. You only pay for the people who create content.
Is an annual commitment required?+
No. The Pro plan is available monthly (no commitment) or annually (2 months free). The Enterprise plan is billed annually.
What does the Enterprise plan include?+
A dedicated server (your videos share no infrastructure), SSO/SAML authentication on request, a contractual availability commitment (SLA), priority support with immediate response, guided onboarding and a dedicated contact. Ideal for large accounts with strong security requirements.
